Health in Mind’s Trauma Counselling Line Scotland are looking to recruit a sessional counsellor to conduct telephone and video counselling with adult survivors of childhood abuse.
The post will support trauma survivors living across Scotland, and provides a valuable support to those experiencing other barriers such as isolation and disability
Support will be provided to self-referring individuals, or those signposted other third sector organisations, or NHS services, who have recognised trauma in their childhood and are at a stage where a therapeutic intervention is deemed appropriate.
The successful candidate will provide trauma-informed therapeutic support on a one to one basis, in adherence with the BACP ethical framework.
