The role
Home Energy Scotland (HES) helps people in Scotland create warmer homes, reduce their energy bills, and lower their carbon footprint. The service is funded by the Scottish Government and managed by Energy Saving Trust. Together, we work with people and organisations to help tackle fuel poverty and the climate emergency – both key priorities for Scottish Government (and humans in general).
As the customer experience digital specialist for the Home Energy Scotland advice network, primary aspects of this role include:
What you’ll do
With a customer focus, you will own and develop the Home Energy Scotland digital ‘roadmap’ and Scottish Government digital workplan, prioritising the enhancement of existing products or the development of new products appropriately.
Introduce digital channels into the HES service, incorporate digital delivery into our company quality and feedback framework and support the network to successfully deliver the service digitally, meeting or exceeding KPIs.
What you’ll bring
This is a permanent position. Our standard weekly hours are 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday. This is a full-time role.
We are open to flexible working locations (within the UK) and as standard we offer all contracts on blended (home and office-based) working.
Location: Edinburgh. Blended working (home and Edinburgh office-based). Possible travel to Home Energy Scotland advice centres, located across Scotland.

The majority of our people are working from home but have access to our office locations – Edinburgh, London, Cardiff and Belfast. We will we be happy to discuss this and our blended working model at the interview stage with you.
