Angus Voice represents the views and experiences of people in Angus who have mental health problems.
Angus Voice is for and led by people who have personal experience of accessing mental health services. The aim is to build the capacity and involvement of people who use mental health services. It enables us to contribute to improving the services that affect us. The project does this by building partnerships and challenging stigma and discrimination.
Purpose of the post:
The Project Worker will provide flexible support across the range of our activities. Among other things, this may include administrative support, social media support, promoting the work of Angus Voice, answering queries from people interested in becoming involved in the work of Angus Voice, and potential volunteers. There is scope for the role to be adapted balancing the organisation’s requirements, with the workers strengths and interests.
Hours worked will be by negotiation and we anticipate some applicants may be interested in working set full days each week, while others prefer a few hours a day, or some other work pattern.
