Role

Here at Cadder Housing Association we are seeking dynamic and committed individuals to join our Board.

We are a community-based housing association in the North of Glasgow. We manage just under 700 tenanted properties and just over 400 factored properties. We also own and manage the Cadder Community Centre.

Over the last two years we have been going through a process of reviewing our business and refocusing our vision of providing an excellent housing service with first class customer service. Our new Business Plan has now been launched and is available on our website:

To help drive our Business Plan forward we are now looking to recruit new voluntary members to our Board. If you are passionate about great housing and building strong communities then we would love to hear from you!

We are happy to consider anyone who feels they have the skills and commitment to support our organisation. We are particularly looking to recruit:

  • Tenants of Cadder Housing Association
  • Members with HR or marketing experience
  • Members with community regeneration experience

As a Board member you would:

  • Help make key decisions and shape the future of our organisation.
  • Provide your views and new ideas to improve our services for our customers.
  • Receive full induction training to help you in your new role.
  • Attend monthly meetings of the Board and 4 sub-committee meetings each year.
  • Be paid reasonable out of pocket expenses or childcare costs for these meetings.
