Here at Cadder Housing Association we are seeking dynamic and committed individuals to join our Board.
We are a community-based housing association in the North of Glasgow. We manage just under 700 tenanted properties and just over 400 factored properties. We also own and manage the Cadder Community Centre.

Over the last two years we have been going through a process of reviewing our business and refocusing our vision of providing an excellent housing service with first class customer service. Our new Business Plan has now been launched and is available on our website:

To help drive our Business Plan forward we are now looking to recruit new voluntary members to our Board. If you are passionate about great housing and building strong communities then we would love to hear from you!
We are happy to consider anyone who feels they have the skills and commitment to support our organisation. We are particularly looking to recruit:
- Tenants of Cadder Housing Association
- Members with HR or marketing experience
- Members with community regeneration experience
As a Board member you would:
- Help make key decisions and shape the future of our organisation.
- Provide your views and new ideas to improve our services for our customers.
- Receive full induction training to help you in your new role.
- Attend monthly meetings of the Board and 4 sub-committee meetings each year.
- Be paid reasonable out of pocket expenses or childcare costs for these meetings.

Cloch’s vision is to deliver services which exceed expectations. The role of Director of Assets is integral to not only leading the property and assets services of the Association, but the overall strategic direction of Cloch. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leadership and Strategic Direction: taking a lead role across all matters of asset management and working collaboratively with the Leadership Team.
- Asset Management: responsibility to manage, coordinate and deliver a customer focussed repairs and maintenance service to ensure that key targets are achieved, that the repair’s function operates within budget and that a quality service is delivered to customers.
- Performance: monitoring the performance outcomes of the team whilst producing reports for Board and contributing to overall performance.
- Continuous Improvement: ensuring the team are empowered and equipped to deliver and challenge the status quo to develop innovative solutions.
This is a permanent, full-time role (35 hours/week) with a competitive salary of £71,666 - £75,018 (SM12-SM14). Based at our Greenock office with hybrid flexibility, plus generous perks like 8 weeks' annual leave (29 days + 11 public holidays), health cash plan and more.

Helping develop sustainable income through relationships, fundraising strategy and philanthropic support.
Marketing & Communications Trustee
Strengthening Soundplay’s voice, visibility and reach through thoughtful, inclusive and engaging communications.
Digital & Technology Trustee
Providing insight and oversight around digital systems, safety, infrastructure and innovation.
Trustee – Lived Experience / Community Voice
Bringing lived experience to the Board to ensure Soundplay’s decision-making remains grounded, accessible and representative of the communities we serve.

As a trustee, you will help guide Soundplay’s direction, support strategic thinking and contribute to a culture of care, creativity and collaboration. You will work alongside other trustees and the staff team to ensure the organisation remains ethical, sustainable and responsive to the people it serves.

Drumchapel Citizens Advice Bureau is seeking new Board Members to join our governing body and support the delivery of vital advice services across Glasgow. This voluntary role offers the chance to use your skills for community benefit, gain governance experience and help shape the future of a trusted local charity. Full induction and training provided.
About Drumchapel CAB
Drumchapel Citizens Advice Bureau provides free, impartial and confidential advice to people across Glasgow. We help local residents resolve issues around welfare benefits, debt, housing, employment and more — empowering individuals and improving quality of life in our community.
As a leading advice provider in the Glasgow area, we’re supported by a dedicated Board of Directors (Trustees) who bring strategic vision, professional insight and community knowledge. We are now seeking new members to join our Board and help shape the future direction of our organisation.
The Role
As a Board Member, you will play an active part in ensuring that Drumchapel CAB remains effective, accountable and sustainable.
You’ll work collectively with fellow Trustees and the Bureau Manager to:
- Provide strategic leadership and sound governance
- Support the management team to deliver high-quality advice services
- Contribute to decision-making that influences the Bureau’s future direction
- Promote our work within the community and wider networks
Board meetings are held every two months, typically lasting around two hours. Trustees may also choose to join sub-committees or short-term working groups.

Who We’re Looking For
Membership is open to anyone aged 18 or over who lives or works in Glasgow (G1–G15) or neighbouring areas.

You don’t need previous Board experience — we’ll provide a full induction and ongoing support.

Carers UK is the national membership charity for the millions of people in the UK who are unpaid carers. As an organisation we provide expert advice and information for carers, campaign for greater recognition and support for carers, and use our experience and expertise to help other organisations do more for carers. Our Board of Trustees plays a vital leadership role in the work we do while ensuring the charity is equipped and governed effectively, establishing and monitoring strategy and ensuring we are true to our values and keep carers at the heart of everything we do.
We are now seeking to appoint up to four people to join our Board of Trustees, to steer us towards our vision of a world where carers are recognised, valued and supported.
It’s an exciting time to be part of Carers UK, as we launch our new strategic review in 2026. Our Board is instrumental in ensuring we make the future really impactful for carers through our vision and strategy while fulfilling all our obligations as a charity.
'We are also seeking to appoint a Nations Trustee for Scotland. In addition to the general responsibilities of a trustee, the Nations Trustee will be expected to ensure that the Carers UK Board is informed on key issues affecting carers in their Nation.
