Role

Stirling City Heritage Trust is a Scottish charity and company limited by guarantee funded by Historic Environment Scotland and Stirling Council. Set up in 2004, it is one of 7 City Heritage Trusts operating in Scotland.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Office Manager to join our small team based at The Barracks in Stirling.

As Office Manager you will work closely with the Trust Manager:

  • Primary responsibility for the smooth running of the SCHT office.
  • SAGE bookkeeping.
  • Administration of health and safety policy.
  • Governance including reporting to OSCR and Companies House.
  • Minutes/ agendas for Board meetings and liaise with Trustees as required.
  • Support the Trust Manager in HR matters including recruitment and updating of policies and procedures.
  • Deal with insurances, leases, office supplies etc.

To meet this role, the Trust is seeking an individual with the following:

  • Business Administration qualification or relevant experience.
  • Experience of office management or as a PA.
  • Experience of bookkeeping (SAGE) and collation of financial records.
  • Working knowledge of GDPR.
  • Well organised with excellent task/project planning skills and a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with the public, project partners and Trustees.
  • Strong ITC skills.
  • An enthusiastic, self-driven approach with the ability to work proactively.
