Role

About the role:

We seek a full-time Engagement and Fundraising Officer to engage supporters, build effective relationships, raise funds, and enhance the profile of Lead Scotland’s work through marketing, engagement, and communication with supporters. This role will also assist in engaging the interest of potential volunteers across Scotland.

About you:

You will be passionate about the transformative power of adult learning in Scotland and engaging positively with adult learners, staff, volunteers, and wider stakeholders. This will require that you are confident in communicating one-to-one, with groups, with partner organisations, and have a flexible, dynamic, and creative approach to problem-solving.

You will be adept at using your creative skills to tell the story of our work in different ways to a range of audiences using a range of media. As such you will be digitally agile, comfortable in deploying technology across different online platforms to engage people.

A capable fundraiser and project manager, you will be able to demonstrate your ability to raise funds and create new relationships and partnerships with stakeholders. In doing so, you will be inclusive in your approach: someone who is committed to working in a way which is inclusive by default.

The Engagement & Fundraising Officer post involves travel throughout Scotland. It could be based at Lead Scotland’s headquarters in Edinburgh, but homebased working could be considered depending on location.
