YouthLink Scotland has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Development Officer who will coordinate the delivery of four national initiatives aimed at empowering young leaders to influence change at both national and local level
This post would suit an outgoing and confident individual with excellent communication and organisational skills. The candidate will be great at building effective relationships with people at all levels, both within our YouthLink Scotland member organisations, and especially with young people. The position is primarily about developing and delivering four national youth participation programmes.

The Participative Democracy Certificate,a SCQF credit rated award for young people involved in decision making processes
The Values and Ethics in Participatory Budgeting & Grant Making Qualification, a new SCQF credit Rated qualification developed to ensure young people have the skills, knowledge and support to fully engage in local Participatory Budgeting opportunities and have a direct say in local funding decisions
#iWill Scotland,which aims to encourage and empower more young people to take action, make a difference and influence change within their communities, the environment and broader society.
We are seeking someone with experience of working with young people and youth workers, who has previously of developed and delivered engaging training and who wants to make a difference in the lives of young people. The post-holder must hold a relevant CLD qualification (SCQFC Level 9) or equivalent.
This is a fixed-term post for two years funded by The National Lottery Young Start programme.
This is a full-time position working 35 hours a week. By its nature, the post will sometimes require work to be undertaken during evenings and weekends. Annual holiday entitlement is 25 days plus 12 public holidays (pro rata) YouthLink Scotland is an equal opportunities employer.
