Barnardo's Ayrshire Services are looking to recruit Project Workers to support children, young people and families throughout North and South Ayrshire.
We are looking for Project Workers for our Attainment Service working within Primary and Secondary Schools. (see addendum).
We are also looking for a Young Person's Drug and Alcohol Worker to support young people aged 12-25 with their own emerging substance use.
Our Ayrshire services works in partnership with North and South Ayrshire Council, Social Work, Health, Education, ADP and other targeted and universal services to coordinate and deliver intensive packages of support to identified children, young people and families presenting with multiple and/ or complex support needs.
Our services are relational and work in partnership with children, young people and families to remove barriers and improve opportunities. Support packages are delivered 1:1 and within groups.
The successful candidate is required to demonstrate a level of experience:
You should be motivated, driven and have the ability to work on your own initiative and in addition as part of a wider multidisciplinary team.
Experience of supporting children, young people and families and people affected by multiple adversities is essential, as is an HNC or SVQ3 Health and Social care qualification or equivalent.
The successful candidate will require working with a high degree of flexibility to meet the needs of the service and as such the post holder will be expected to work evenings and occasional weekends as required.
We have full time positions of 37 hours per week available, we will also consider part time hours. Please indicate on your application if you prefer full time or part time hours”
