This is an exciting time for the Fringe as we emerge from the most challenging two years in the festival’s history, and work towards a Fringe renaissance. We are looking for an exceptional individual to be the Head of Artist Services who will put the artists and creatives who make the Fringe at the centre of everything we do. You will be a well-networked, creative thinker, an excellent communicator and relationship builder. You will be passionate about the performing arts, an excellent listener, and will be able to balance a varied portfolio of support services for Fringe participants, whilst also adding value from your own leadership and wider perspective.
The Artist Services team offers advice, support and facilities to all participants, including performers, producers, companies, venues and arts industry professionals coming to the Fringe. Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Head of Artist Services holds strategic oversight of the extensive work of this department, working as part of the senior management team on the overall operations of the Fringe Society and being representative of the Society to stakeholders and the Board of Trustees. The role provides direction to the team of managers within the department, overseeing the development of the services provided to the diverse range of stakeholders.

Curator for Research

Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop is seeking a new Curator for Research to work closely with individuals and groups within our overlapping communities to devise, fundraise for, deliver and communicate exceptional experiences for sharing ideas and new work.
The Curator for Research's role is to devise and deliver programme which furthers our support for artists and helps to define the role of ESW within the visual arts sector in Scotland and internationally, and to manage and evaluate this programme within the wider context of ESW's activities and ambitions. This is a highly practical role and one where there is scope to innovate and adapt, through a mode of joint reflection, experimentation and openness to create new ways to be ambitious for our stakeholders and for contemporary sculpture practice in general.

In this interesting and varied role you will be responsible for the Trust’s heritage responsibilities, overseeing achievement of Museum Accreditation and all the work which goes into maintaining this designation of professional heritage care; the delivery and further development of an exceptional visitor experience; volunteering and educational visits. Overseeing a team of five, and working closely with the fundraising team to achieve your objectives, you will be a key member of our management team and will advise trustees on all heritage and community matters. As a small charity run by staff and volunteers, you should be personable and flexible in your approach to others, and be prepared to be bitten by our passion for Scott and Abbotsford.
Services Manager - Enquire (Maternity Cover)

The opportunity has arisen to take on the role of Service Manager for a period of 12 months on a maternity cover basis. Sitting within Children in Scotland’s Services, Policy and Participation department, this role will involve effective management of all areas of Enquire service delivery.
We are looking for a brilliant and experienced manager with excellent skills in communication, organisation, people management and budget management. The right candidate will also have a solid understanding of the additional support for learning landscape in Scotland to ensure that we maintain our high standards of delivery across all work streams.
