The Assembly is a growing group of people with a learning disability or autism who want to have more say in decisions that affect them locally and nationally in Scotland.
People come to The Assembly as individuals and not on behalf of the other organisations that they are part of.
Our goal is to become the world’s first Learning Disability Parliament where people with a learning disability or autism can influence and vote on things that affect them.
The National Assembly meets every Friday and Regional Assemblies meet every month on Zoom.
We want these groups to get bigger so that as many people as possible can be involved in decision making.
