We are looking for an enthusiastic person with varying levels of skills and experience to join Young Scot – the national youth information and citizenship charity for 11-26-year-olds in Scotland. We provide information, ideas and opportunities for young people, helping them to make informed decisions and choices, connecting them to opportunities locally, nationally and globally and empowering them to create and drive positive change.
Our Enquiries Assistant will play a key role in handling queries about the Young Scot National Entitlement Card (NEC) and Young Persons’ free bus travel scheme. The role will involve responding to enquiries from a variety of stakeholders via email, telephone and social media platforms. This role will also work with colleagues from across the organisation and beyond, to provide excellent and consistent customer service to stakeholders, including young people.

Our journey to becoming an Anti-Racist Organisation
At Young Scot, we’re working hard to become an explicitly Anti-Racist organisation. We are doing this by taking a close look at our organisation and identifying what it is we do that contributes to structural racism. As part of this work, we’ve reviewed our recruitment processes and made several changes. You can read more about this important work on our website.
We welcome and encourage job applications from people of all backgrounds and communities. This will help us to ensure that our staff team represents the young people in Scotland that we serve. We particularly welcome applications from Black people and people of color, and disabled people – all of whom are currently under-represented at Young Scot
