CEDAR Coordinator

Role

  • To work as part of the CEDAR Project to develop and manage a community group work programme for children, young people and their mothers who have experienced domestic abuse.
  • To assist in the promotion, development, management and delivery of the CEDAR 12-week community group programme.
  • To oversee and deliver the CEDAR programme, managing referrals, scheduling and delivering groups and provide support to co-facilitators.
  • To carry out assessments with children, young people and their mothers or carers to establish if the group is suitable.
  • To act as a single point of contact for both referrers and families.
  • To carry out all work to the highest possible standards in accordance with professional ethics, AWA policies and procedures, National Care Standards, Scottish Women’s Aid National Service Standards and other relevant legislation.
