Role

East Renfrewshire Community Services encompasses a variety of well-established Recovery focused community and employability support services for individuals and families experiencing mental health difficulties who reside in East Renfrewshire. We have been established in Renfrewshire for over 30 years and work closely with other agencies and partner organisations.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised individual for the Information & Digital Inclusion Worker post, to support in the development of information in a variety of formats. We are particularly interested in developing access through technology/digital sources to mental health information. In addition, this post will require you to deliver information sessions to RAMH Carers’ and families and the local community to understand mental health well-being, illness, recovery and to reduce associated stigma, at times this will include the High Schools of East Renfrewshire.

We are seeking someone with a broad understanding of mental health, who has a vision and a passion to develop our Information Service in a creative and responsive way. You must to be able to work flexibly as some events may be at evenings/weekends.

You must have confidence and excellent communication and recording skills including the use of IT databases and you must be confident using a wide variety of presentation skills.
