The STV Children’s Appeal was launched in 2011 by The Hunter Foundation and STV. They came together to raise funds and to help make a real difference to those who need it most, by providing practical help like food and warm clothes; creating opportunities for training and employability; and enabling social and emotional support.
A fantastic opportunity has come up to join the STV Children’s Appeal team. The successful candidate will have exceptional communication and organisational skills, as well as engaging and concise copywriting skills, and will enjoy working with multiple stakeholders.
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about storytelling, enjoys team working and has a keen interest in the charitable sector. Absolutely central to this role is ensuring that the voices of children and families affected by poverty are front and centre of all our communications.
Relationship building with charities, fundraisers, media and wider STV staff is key to making this role a success – we expect you to be committed, out and about and always happy to talk about the STV Children’s Appeal with confidence and knowledge.
