An exciting opportunity has arisen to join SAMH as a Service Manager within our Easterhill and Brisbane Supported Accommodations. Our services provide emotional, social and practical support to individuals , whilst promoting independent living, to tenants with severe and enduring mental health problems. By providing this support it is envisaged that service users experience a quality of life that was perhaps not previously available to them.
We are committed to providing care and support to our service users and are looking for a motivated and resilient Service Manager who is equally dedicated to the provision of outcome focused person centred care and can confidently lead teams within their remit. In this role you will be Registered Manager for the services.
The Service Manager will provide positive leadership and management while demonstrating and evidencing the following;
The service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There is a rotational shift pattern in place with an additional sleepover and on call cover to provide emergency support to tenants. Main hours of working for a Service Manager will be Monday – Friday however post requires flexibility to meet demands of service.

To be successful in this post you will meet the essential criteria, core competencies behaviour and skills listed in the role profile and be able to demonstrate a proven track record of delivering outcomes for vulnerable adults; and knowledge and experience of working in the field of mental health and wellbeing.
