Bipolar Scotland is at an exciting time in our story. We have recently launched our 5-year strategic plan “A Time to Move Forward” and are offering the opportunity for an exceptional candidate to play a key part in the expansion of the organisation.
Funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, we are seeking skilled Peer Workers to support newly diagnosed individuals for a period of up to six months as part of an innovative new service. The successful candidates will be dynamic and passionate about peer support with the drive and initiative to be part of a forward-looking organisation. The ideal candidates will have direct experience of living with bipolar and considerable knowledge broader mental health and wellbeing, mental illness, recovery, treatment and support.
They will have experience of supporting others to identify meaningful resources for recovery and be able to draw on their lived experience in a planned and managed way. For further requirements, please see the attached person specification.
