Do you want to join an ambitious organisation committed to making our world a better place? Changeworks is growing, and we need a Programme Manager to help deliver our energy efficiency retrofit projects across Scotland.
About you
We need a strong relationship builder, an effective communicator and a driver of quality to help us deliver our important work to deliver low-carbon housing across Scotland and driving Scotland’s journey to Net Zero. You will be a great leader who can motivate a team and keep across a variety of different projects to ensure consistently high standards.
You will understand the complexities of successfully delivering retrofit projects and programmes driving quality and achieving high impacts in challenging timescales.
About the role
We act as a Managing Agent for Local Authorities and Housing Associations delivering a range of energy efficiency and decarbonisation programmes working in homes across Scotland. You will work within the Building Decarbonisation Team to deliver domestic retrofit projects, managing retrofit contractors and ensuring projects are delivered to budget and to a high standard.

Changeworks ~ delivering positive low carbon living
Senior Technical Officer

Community Energy Scotland is recruiting for a Senior Technical Officer with experience of all aspects of technical project delivery, including scoping of technical work, writing bids and tenders, managing client relationships, overseeing and providing expert input into technical content creation, and delivering outputs on time and to budget.
The role will be part of a wider technical team that delivers the technical aspects of several of Community Energy Scotland’s projects, as well as stand-alone technical work such as feasibility studies and options appraisals. This new senior role requires an energetic, well organised self-starter.
We are particularly looking for candidates who can demonstrate experience and skills in at least two of the following areas:
- Grid assessments
- Development of 30-50MW renewable generation projects
- Non-loan financing for renewable projects
- Cost estimation for renewable generation projects
- System integration of renewable generation projects to buildings or off-grid systems
