Southside Housing Association Ltd is a charitable community controlled housing organisation. We own and manage approximately 2,200 houses and through our own factoring company, SFARS, provide a factoring service to a further 800 houses.

Community Programmes

We have a well-established range of community programmes which are offered within our neighbourhoods. These range from supporting health and well-being, tackling poverty and supporting partner organisations to deliver their work. In addition we have developed our investment in communities through large scale green infrastructure at the Halfway Community Park and will deliver a similar scale project at Queensland Court and Gardens in 2022. The Outdoor Activity and Well-being Officer post will support and complement the range of community programmes we deliver.

We are seeking a well organised and motivated individual to work as part of the Community Initiatives Team, with a specific focus on the Halfway Community Park and Queensland Community Park in Cardonald.

The post holder will have an appreciation of the great outdoors, come rain or shine! They will be creative and flexible in their approach to adapting to the needs of the community and will build a programme of activities and events that will have a positive and lasting effect on the community of Cardonald.

A PVG Check will be requested for the successful applicant.
