If the answer is yes, then Corra Foundation’s People in Place team wants to hear from you now as our local co-ordinator will soon be going on maternity leave.
Community Co-ordinators work to build trusting relationships with the local people, key partners and stakeholders to facilitate, identify and help develop ideas for long lasting community owned change.
If you have previous experience of working in and with a community or managing a local community group, or project on a paid or voluntary basis, this could be the role for you!
Can you demonstrate an ability to form positive working relationships with a range of individuals and groups?
Have you provided support and managed volunteers?
We need someone with energy and enthusiasm, who has an ability to work flexibly within the community, is self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
The People in Place programme ‘getting alongside communities’ is currently working in 9 communities across Scotland.
This role will be based in Dunterlie, East Renfrewshire, with a flexible approach to carrying out an element of work from home. Travel will be required throughout East Renfrewshire and attendance at meetings across Scotland (mostly Glasgow and Edinburgh).
