The Braveheart Association is currently seeking to recruit a Volunteer Co-ordinator with the relevant experience and skills to ensure the organisation continues to develop and provide high quality volunteering opportunities which can be sustained long term.
Organisation profile:
The Braveheart Association is a SCIO (Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation) governed by a Board of Trustees. The staff team are normally based in locations within Forth Valley area with the main office in Falkirk Community Hospital, however, much work is currently being delivered from home. Braveheart aims to promote health and wellbeing by providing a framework of active support and encouragement for adults with long term conditions (such as Coronary Heart Disease and Type 2 Diabetes) and for those at risk of developing chronic health conditions. Services include healthy living sessions, self management groups, a foot care service and a walking programme all delivered in partnership with trained local volunteers.

Volunteer Co-ordinator
Braveheart is seeking a Volunteer Co-ordinator with a volunteer management background and experience of volunteer recruitment, training and development.
Working closely with the Braveheart staff team and volunteers, the Co-ordinator will design and implement a variety of volunteer development initiatives, recruitment and development plans.
The role is 14 hours per week which can be worked flexibly. Please refer to the Job Description below for more details on the role.
