Role
Space & Broomhouse Hub is a Scottish award-nominated charity organisation working to improve the happiness, mood & mental wellbeing of our community members; enhancing physical health, developing skills & job opportunities, whilst growing the confidence of the residents of our area and beyond in South West Edinburgh. We do this by nurturing, supporting and inspiring people of all ages so that lives are fuller, potential is fulfilled and community connections flourish.
In 1991, at a time of depression and recession, community activism and a refusal to accept Broomhouse deserved anything less than other communities – local residents campaigned to turn a row of six shops into one centre. The Broomhouse Centre.
30 years on, and still with local community groups and trustees at the core, Space at the Broomhouse Hub has a new state-of-the-art community building housing a community training café. We have grown and now deliver 17 projects, with 50+ staff and 250+ volunteers. We deliver diverse services supporting young people, families, older people and carers amongst others, engaging with local people more than 34,000 times last year.

The Role
We are recruiting a Relationships and Fundraising Manager to lead operations that generate money through partnerships, trusts and foundations, grants, donations, and all other aspects of fundraising.
The Relationships and Fundraising Manager will:
- Lead the development of an organisational funding strategy to sustain resilient and robust income streams for all of our work, to include a calendar of fundraising appeals and events, ensuring a planned return on any investment; growing unrestricted income, meeting financial and organisational objectives, targets and KPIs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with trusted partners in order to increase Space’s income across Trusts, Foundations, Corporate Supporters and individuals.
- Create ingenious ways to raise awareness of Space and its services, implementing marketing strategies and promotional campaigns to attract new funding opportunities.
- Prepare annual forecasts and quarterly budgets for review to deliver agreed outcomes and inform future funding applications.
- Represent Space at relevant groups and bodies. Organising and attending speaking events and networking with relevant stakeholders.

About the role
As the Registered Manager, you will be an experienced leader leading a team working with individuals who have a wide range of support needs, providing them with practical and emotional support and encouraging them to achieve their own personal outcomes in all aspects of their daily lives e.g. keeping safe, meaningful activities, community involvement, physical health, relationships, emotional health and wellbeing.
As the Registered Manager you will:
- Maintain the continuing relevance of services to individuals’ needs and purchaser requirements by ongoing planning, monitoring and evaluation.
- Oversee the financial aspects of the service, managing significant budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and making financial decisions.
- Where a need or an opportunity is identified, lead on the development of new services, support business growth and maintain reputational excellence.
- Comply with governance, law and legislation including local authority compliance, Care Inspectorate (at level 5 and above), SSSC and safeguarding procedures.
- Support the senior management team in the streamlining, promotion and monitoring of quality assurance systems which meets the needs of individual services as well as the overall service delivery in the region.
- Develop, monitor and implement supervision and appraisal systems for staff.
About You
You will have passion and drive to take forward a well-established Service and Team. Be passionate; and committed to the overall aims and objectives of the service and have the belief that people can live fulfilling lives with the right support in place.
You should also have:
- Experience of working with vulnerable people and leading a service delivery team, including managing the provision of a safe operating environment in a relevant context.
- The ability to negotiate with a wide range of internal and external partners and build positive relationships including local authorities and housing associations.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to effectively prioritise your own time and workload to meet a number of different and competing tasks in sometimes pressurised environment.
- Social Service and Health Care at level 9 (SCQF) or other speciality/qualification recognised by the SSSC for registration purposes as well as a relevant management qualification.

We’re recruiting a Senior Support Worker to lead frontline delivery of personalised, high-quality, and compassionate support to individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness. You’ll be part of a dedicated team delivering tenancy support, housing management assistance, and wellbeing services tailored to individual needs.
Eastfield is a high support needs service, supporting people with multiple and complex needs as such as substance use, mental health and physical health. This does not involve any personal care or administering any medication
Role and responsibilities
• Coordinate and deliver support plans addressing tenancy sustainment, substance use, mental health, housing needs, and personal development.
• Responsible for coordinating and maintaining staff rotas for their service.
• Work directly with individuals to help them achieve their goals, build life skills, and improve health and wellbeing.
• Act as a keyworker and oversee support delivery, ensuring accurate and professional records.
• Liaise with external partners, including housing teams, healthcare services, and advocacy groups.
• Provide leadership on shift and supervision to support workers in the absence of the Team Leader.
• Promote inclusion, empowerment, and trauma-informed practice in all areas of support.
Essential Skills and Attributes
• A recognised social care qualification at SCQF Level 6 or above.
• Experience working in adult social care, ideally in homelessness, housing support or mental health.
• Confident in report writing, support planning, and using digital systems.
• Understanding of SSSC codes of practice and Care Inspectorate standards.
• Strong values of compassion, dignity, and respect for all.
• Ability to read, speak and write in English at CEFR level B1 or higher.
• Commitment to the values and mission of Care Support Scotland, and to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion
Desired skills and attributes
• Previous social care practitioner (skilled worker) experience,
