The role
This key role will be the lead person responsible for the development, integration, improvement of our IT network, information systems, telecommunication provisions and our data and cyber security arrangements; leading and delivering on our IT Strategy and leadership of our IT & Digital Team; and, in conjunction with other senior colleagues, for ensuring that our ambitious programme of digital transformation for people we support within our communities is implemented across the Charity and all localities.
A highly autonomous and technical role, with the opportunity to shape and deliver improvement in the use of the Charity’s IT and digital provisions, the Head of IT and Digital Services will be the organisations lead role for overseeing, directing and the efficient management of a full range of IT and digital activities over a multi-site provision of local Dementia Resource Centres, Brain Health Centres, Day Care Centres and office facilities.
The person
You will be an experienced and customer focussed individual to lead on the provision of a high quality, responsive IT and digital services. You will be responsible for ensuring that our ambitious programme of digital transformation is implemented across the charity that deliver and focusses on positive outcomes for people with dementia, carers and our communities of support and practice.
With a significant track record of leading a busy and responsive IT operational team and contributing to the delivery of IT strategy as well as overseeing and delivering information technology projects, you will be able to operate effectively within a strong collaborative culture. You’ll have excellent communication skills, the ability to develop and deliver improvements and efficiencies in our IT provisions, as well as ensuring robust compliance with best practice and the highest levels of cyber security and quality standards.
