We are seeking someone with a passion for the charity sector, experience of trust fundraising, and an ambition to develop skills in other areas of income generation.
The role holder will work alongside the Head of Fundraising to deliver the fundraising strategy and maximise income from trusts, legacies and corporate supporters. Our growing team has ambitious plans to grow our fundraising to ensure Sight Scotland can be there for everyone with sight loss, and their families, who need us. You will be an experienced and confident fundraiser who is a team player, with a willingness to learn and work with the team to maximise income from a variety of sources.
With strong knowledge of the trust environment in Scotland, you will be responsible for creating and managing a pipeline of activity for compelling trust applications and cultivating relationships with a wide range of funders. This will be a key part of the role and will also involve liaising closely with our services to identify fundraising priorities and projects and writing impact reports.
We are currently developing our legacy strategy and this role holder, working with the Head of Fundraising, will play a key part in the delivery of that strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of this project from the start and have input into the future legacy vision for the charity.
After our re-brand and name change in October 2020, we are now in a strong position to move forward with our corporate fundraising and we are looking for an enthusiastic and positive person to help us take this forward.
This is an exciting time to be joining Sight Scotland as we take forward our ambition to reach everyone in Scotland with sight loss. Join us at the start of this ambitious journey and help shape the future for people with sight loss today.
