CEIS offers tailored consultancy support and services to help third sector organisations to succeed and grow.

We know there is so much great work happening within the sector and the clients that we work with, and we want to find someone who can help us to share this impact and raise our profile within the sector. We are looking for someone who is passionate about change, can tell our story, is an excellent communicator, and has experience in digital communications. You will also be comfortable using your initiative to find a story and working across multiple teams within the Group.

Job Description

You will join our Events and Marketing Team, working across all areas of the CEIS Group. This role will be pivotal to our success in telling our story and will focus on engaging with others across the sector as well as with our own teams within the Group. You will be a strong team player but will also be comfortable working independently, setting your own schedule, and adhering to deadlines.

Sharing our Story- You will be responsible for the creation and implementation of our content plan using story-telling techniques to share our work with the world. Sharing our impact and ensuring that impact is measured regularly across the Group. Designing mechanisms to capture success stories and building strong relationships with contacts across the group to create content.

Building our Network - Our work is wide reaching and varied, and you will lead on the creation of all key messages about CEIS including the work of Enterprise and Communities, DSL, CEIS Ayrshire, and CEIS Events. You will manage our presence with a particular focus on online and will be responsible for growing our online community. Raising awareness of CEIS and our Group services both nationally and internationally by managing all Group social media accounts and designing and executing a content plan.

Team Engagement - Our staff are our most asset; they are the people directly impacting change within the sector. You will support our team engagement strategy ‘CEIS Connect’ by designing regular communications and events for staff engagement throughout the year including a monthly newsletter and weekly staff engagement events.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

Essential

  1. Experience of content planning, content creation, and analytics
  2. Experience of managing organisation/company social media communities
  3. Creative communication skills and copy writing experience
  4. Experience of digital marketing tools, design software, and analytical tools
  5. Ability to work effectively and flexibly as a member of a team
  6. Ability to manage own workload, work independently and remotely, and adhere to deadlines

Desirable

  1. Interest in social enterprise or social impact
  2. Marketing, Media, Communications or Design qualification
  3. Digital design experience
  4. Interviewing skills/Video creation skills
  5. Video editing skills
