The role
This key role will be the lead person responsible for identifying and coordinating learning opportunities that supports and enables our whole workforce to consistently deliver quality and excellence. This will include accessing emerging research on best practice with a focus on learning outcomes that maintain and improve knowledge, skills and professional practice and bring about positive change for those we support, with a particular emphasis upon the Promoting Excellence Framework (PEF), Continuous Professional Learning (CPL) related to SSSC Codes, and other professional skills training and leadership development aimed at maximising individual colleagues’ learning and opportunity.
The person
You’ll have the confidence and skill set to engage people at all levels, the ability to influence and persuade and be able to work with a degree of autonomy, with a strong understanding of the Promoting Excellence Framework and the professional learning standards set by the SSSC.
A strong willingness and ability to contribute to how we support and drive forward learning and development activities that embrace creative, flexible and adaptable approaches including digital learning as a key medium for sharing and collaborating on best approaches and practice, with a focus on continual improvement are key requirements of this the role.
