Role

We have an excellent opportunity to join our team in Glasgow as an Access and Engagement Worker.

You must be motivated to work as part of a diverse team and understand the importance of communicating with your line manager and extended team members. As the first point of contact for people engaging with the service, you will be flexible, resilient and solution focused, ensuring that effective and easy to navigate pathways are in place.

What we’re looking for

Ideally the successful candidates will have outstanding communication skills and the ability to work effectively as a team player in a collaborative and supportive manner. You will be someone who thrives under pressure, has good time management and prioritisation skills and can work well with others. In addition you will need to be positive, confident and well organised with experience of working with people in a recovery, health, social care or criminal justice setting.

An SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Health Care is required as a minimum qualification and registration with the SSSC will be essential. The successful candidate will be required to have a good level of IT skills and experience using databases and liaising with external partners.
