Role

Change Mental Health are looking for a diligent and detail-focused engagement officer to join our passionate Bloom team.

This role comes at a critical time to make a positive impact on young people’s mental wellbeing, so we welcome applications from people determined to support the needs of young people. To date we have trained over 3000 teachers and supported 200,000 young people in schools and colleges across the UK, and we now need to bring the programme to scale to reach its target of 500,000 young people.

In this exciting role, you will be working with schools, colleges, and various stakeholders across Scotland, you will be tasked with promoting Bloom far and wide, working closely with the Bloom manager to follow a strategic, target-driven plan.

You will use your interpersonal and public speaking skills to build sturdy relationships across the education and youth sector to ensure no college or school in Scotland misses out on a chance to access Bloom.

Who are we looking for?

  • Proven track record of developing and maintaining relationships with educational institutions/youth work organisations.
  • Experience of collating information and creating accurate reports.
  • An understanding of the importance of working with quality standards and a capability to mobilize others to work towards these standards.
  • An ability to build strong working relationships with external team members.

What will you be doing?

  • Developing a comprehensive engagement strategy to promote Bloom to key stakeholders and encourage schools and colleges to participate in the programme.
  • Developing mechanisms to share the impact of Bloom through case studies, videos, webinars etc.
  • Building relationships with a host of partner agencies e.g. schools, Local Authorities etc. to secure sign- up
  • Working in a collaborative way with all colleagues across UK to ensure there is a nation-wide response to the needs of young people.
