We support young people to thrive and make the most of their lives as they grow up. We do this by providing universal services for young people, combined with targeted and bespoke support to address stigma, inequalities, and inaccessibility. Supporting young people to thrive is a powerful way to provide reassurance in times of challenge, help build confidence and resilience, and to have fun!
Our Data and Insight Assistant will support our Data and Insights Manager to deliver the Young Scot data and insight service. You will identify and collect relevant data to support all Directorates in Young Scot. You will support the production of data reports and the use of data dashboards This will allow us to develop more relevant and responsive services for young people across Scotland.

Our journey to becoming an Anti-Racist Ally
At Young Scot, we’re working hard to become an explicitly Anti-Racist organisation. We are doing this by taking a close look at our organisation and identifying what it is we do that contributes to structural racism. As part of this work, we’ve reviewed our recruitment processes and made several changes. You can read more about this important work on our website.
We welcome and encourage job applications from people of all backgrounds and communities. This will help us to ensure that our staff team represents the young people in Scotland that we serve. We particularly welcome applications from Black people and people of color, and disabled people – all of whom are currently under-represented at Young Scot
If you need any support or have any questions, please email us at recruitment@young.scot.
