About The Role

Due to significant growth we are recruiting for a Contracts Manager across Lanarkshire and the West.

Your role, as an ENABLE Works Contract Manager, will be to manage the delivery, performance and compliance of multiple contracts across your region.

You will be responsible for all contract management and delivery of outcomes and income across the programmes in your region; key to this will be developing positive professional relationships with our delivery teams and stakeholders in each area.

You will be responsible for all programme monitoring, ensuring accurate tracking of all performance. You will be required to provide this, in line with funder expectations, to your regional Operations Manager and will be required to attend and contribute to regular leadership meetings.

You will work closely with our delivery teams and will be responsible for driving performance and compliance in-line with contractual targets. You will ensure a positive experience of our provision for both our clients and stakeholders.

You will motivate and monitor performance and ensure we deliver a quality service across the programme whilst meeting challenging project KDIs.

You will work to accurately forecast delivery outcomes, drive performance within teams, and identify and effectively manage any risks to performance to ensure targets are achieved.

Analytical skills, attention to detail and a keen understanding of your regions challenging compliance requirements, are essential to be successful in this role.

Responsible for quality and compliance you will work closely with our Compliance team, overseeing internal audits, recognising trends, identifying risks areas and actioning effective contingencies.

You will be an important member of the wider ENABLE Works team, supporting departmental objectives through effective programme management, but also through positive collaboration and innovation within your team to support our strategic goals.

Please note this role involves the management of a geographical region, so significant travel to ensure effective management of a geographically disparate team will be required.

Into Work

Into Work provides a holistic wraparound supported employment service to disabled and neurodivergent people and those with health conditions, across Edinburgh and the surround. Our projects and services are person-centred and our approach follows the social model of disability.

Co-production is at the heart of what we do; we work with people who have lived experience of disability to help design and shape our projects and services. The aim is to remove common barriers to work and support people towards and into fair and financially sustainable jobs. To help achieve our aims, we have a dedicated Financial Inclusion Service (FIS) available on a 1:1 basis to all clients, covering benefits, income maximisation and cost of living. We also deliver workshops and offer benefits awareness training to external and partner frontline staff.

The base for this role is Norton Park, 57 Albion Road. Edinburgh. It involves hybrid working – remotely from home online and in-person in the community and the office.

The Role

2023 sees Into Work reach 30 years of successful operation. As well as those we support, at Into Work we are committed to the well-being and development of our staff. They are the key to our success and have helped us to deliver services and grow into the flexible, specialist provider we are.

At this exciting time, as we expand our Financial Inclusion Service, Into Work is looking for an experienced Welfare Rights Officer to work alongside our Welfare Rights Lead in providing advice on benefits and conducting comprehensive overall household financial assessments on expenditure and maximising income – including discount schemes and grants/funds available to address the cost-of-living crisis.

The aim is to remove financial barriers to employment, such as anxiety and poverty, including in-work poverty and to create opportunity for those we support. The purpose is to help people feel empowered and confident; able to choose to focus on and consider work, including better work.

This service also delivers impactful workshops to people in the community and to others in support roles. It is adaptable, to suit the needs of the attendees. The post holder would be expected to conduct 1:1 client meetings and workshop delivery. This includes travelling within Edinburgh and also the surrounding area.

About You

We are looking for someone who is empathetic and committed to equality, with recent experience of delivering welfare rights advice on both in and out of work benefits, disability benefits, income maximisation and current cost of living funds. Someone confident in completing full benefit assessments, better off in work calculations, appealing decisions and on potentially representing to tribunal level.

You will need to be organised, flexible and articulate, able to provide a high-quality, professional service online, via phone and in person and become comfortable with the delivery of our group workshops. We’d also like you to be adaptable and happy to respond to new opportunities in line with the development of Into Work’s Financial Inclusion Service.

We are looking for an Employment Coordinator to work on the Fair Start Scotland, national employability programme, supporting a range of participants in their journey towards, and into, employment. This service aims to support all unemployed residents of Scotland, who face barriers to employment.

You will work closely with a large group of clients each year, profiling their skills and jointly planning activity that will enable them to achieve their work goals, upskill through training and support, and achieve progressions into employment, before continuing to support those individuals for up to a year in work.

You will have significant working knowledge of the local area and key employability stakeholders and sectors, as well as having a strong understanding of the local labour market and employer requirements.

You will be responsible for developing positive relationships with the programme participants, their circles of support and professional support services. You will work closely with local partners, including employers, funders and other stakeholders, developing professional relationships that will offer a diverse range of experiences and opportunities.

You will be given a work plan to achieve in order that programme participants are receiving a quality service and we are achieving the expectations of funders and stakeholders, and you will be required to meet challenging, but achievable, programme KDIs.

You will be an important member of the wider ENABLE Works team, supporting departmental objectives through delivery of support but also through positive collaboration and innovation within your team to support our strategic, societal goals.

A full UK drivers licence and access to a car for work purposes is essential for this role.

Our Youth Coordinators will support children and young people who have a learning disability to become active, confident members of their community by supporting them to utilise public transport and develop their peer networking skills.

• Experience working with young people
• Understanding of the issues affecting transitions in to adulthood for young people with learning disabilities

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
