Role

Do you enjoy empowering others to make positive changes in their life?

We are seeking someone to join our diverse Community Mental Health and Wellbeing team in the Guided Self Help service. It is an exciting time for our team working with Thrive Edinburgh.

Guided Self Help is a one-to-one support service that guides people to access self-help materials. Sessions are currently being delivered online (zoom) or telephone, but will eventually return to also being face-to-face. The service is based on the principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Interpersonal Counselling (IPC) and is for anyone aged 18 and over experiencing mild to moderate anxiety and/or depression, stress or sleep problems.

A Guided Self-help Support and Development Worker provides support to empower people to make positive changes in their life now and going forward.

If you have experience of supporting people to improve their mental health and wellbeing or personal experience of self-managing your own mental health difficulties, we’d love to hear from you!
