Role

Background

Tiny Changes was set up in memory of artist and Frightened Rabbit frontman Scott Hutchison. Through his music and art Scott made tiny changes that had a big impact. His honesty and openness about his own mental health inspired people from all walks of life. Tiny Changes is Scott’s legacy. We are Scotland’s very first national children and young people’s mental health charity; funding projects and ideas that help young minds feel better.

Since the charity was founded, it has built a loyal community of supporters and fundraisers across Scotland and internationally. Recently hitting £1 million raised from our community, but with corporate and strategic partnerships largely underdeveloped, it's a crucial time to continue building great relationships with our existing community and encourage new partners, fundraisers and supporters to be part of a movement for change.

The Project

Tiny Changes is seeking a part time consultant with immediate start working 1-2 days per week for up to 6 months. As a growing charity with a high profile, we’re looking for the right person to develop this potential and form high impact corporate partnerships, all directed towards helping young minds feel better.

The partnerships consultant will prospect for new business and deliver proactive account management of Tiny Changes partnerships. This role is consultancy based, meaning you’ll be self-employed and work autonomously with self-motivation and discipline.

The consultant will:

  • share our vision and values and represent Tiny Changes in a way that is in line with our values and standards
  • creative, energetic and passionate about enabling our work
  • be an active listener, equalities driven and self reflective
  • be comfortable securing income in new and existing markets and have demonstrable experience of developing and delivering proposals that bring about an initial ask of over £10,000 and lead to lasting partnerships
  • have a proven track record of excellent business development techniques and results, alongside experience of building successful partnerships and relationships at all levels
  • use their skills and experience to develop Tiny Changes corporate partnerships and raise the charity’s profile
