This is a fantastic opportunity to come and join the Children 1st team

Are you interested in the Children rights and are passionate about working with alongside children and families in a rights-based way? We are looking for peripatetic Family Group Decision Making Coordinator to support teams who have short term recruitment and capacity gaps. As an FGDM coordinator you will work with children and families to empower and support them in active decision making and developing family plans to find their own solutions to their unique circumstances. Part of this post will be within our Children 1st East Lothian Service. however, you will have the opportunity to work with several teams across the central belt through a blend of virtual and face to face work.

This is an exciting opportunity for anyone interested in Family Group Decision Making and would like to extend their skill set. It’s also an opportunity for existing FGDM coordinators to increase their hours. FT/PT options may be available.

We are also determined that the full incorporation of the UNCRC means that children will have their rights respected in all areas of their lives and will have a real say in the way they are supported.
