The Mental Health Foundation is recruiting for a Project Manager to support our Programmes Team

What does the role involve?

This rewarding role has been created to develop and manage projects that will enhance the Foundation’s mission to prevent mental health problems amongst vulnerable groups in our community. Specifically they will support the implementation of the Foundations Covid Response Programme (CRP). The posts will work closely with the Programme Manager in the Adult teams to develop new and innovative areas of work that focus on the prevention of mental health problems.

What are we looking for?

People with:

  • Proven project management skills, including work planning, budgeting and project sustainability
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey concepts to a range of audiences and to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Evidenced understanding of risk and protective factors that impact on mental health and wellbeing.
  • Proven track record of engaging with people who experience inequalities and amplifying less heard voices
  • Experience of building community and/or organisational capacity
