Change Grow Live Forth Valley have successfully been awarded funding from the Scottish Government Innovation Fund to support the recruitment and integration of Peer Harm Reduction Navigators into our established Forth Valley Harm Reduction team.
We are delighted to open recruitment for the first 4 Peer Harm Reduction Navigator posts who will bring additional capacity to our team. The posts are an opportunity for individuals with lived or living experience of alcohol or drug use to gain work experience and training and enhance their longer-term employability.
The successful candidates will work within our established Harm Reduction team, providing assertive outreach to engage with more difficult to reach service users through offering harm reduction interventions, engagement, and support to access services. This service will be offered in a variety of locations across Forth Valley.
We offer extensive learning opportunities which may include access to SVQ.
The successful candidates will have a passion for recovery, an openness to a variety of approaches and interventions, a willingness to learn, good communication and literacy skills.
Change Grow Live are committed to creating an inclusive environment, which celebrates difference and allows our staff and service users to flourish. We recruit the very best staff from a wide range of backgrounds, ensuring service users benefit from our diverse skills and expertise. We always work to the principles of fairness and equality of opportunity in all our recruitment processes.
We also expect an assertive approach to ensuring the safety and well-being of all children, young people and adults, and applicants to these posts will need to demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to best safeguarding practice.
