The Senior Development Officer role will work to deliver the strategic aims of the ALLIANCE. This includes an emphasis on the voice of lived experience, person-centredness and human rights. The ALLIANCE will be working with an increased focus on Health and Social Care Integration, the National Care Service, human rights incorporation and SNAP 2, and the National Performance Framework. The post holder will:

• Enhance the capacity of different stakeholders to engage with and contribute to health and social care integration with a focus on third sector and people with lived experience of accessing health and social care.
• Facilitate connections across the third sector.
• Enhance opportunities for peer learning, reflective practice and outcomes focused activity across the third sector and for the involvement of people with lived experience in shaping integrated health and social care in Scotland.

The successful candidate for this role should have:

• Educated to degree level or equivalent through experience
• Experience of relationship building and partnership working
• Excellent communication skills including report writing and delivering presentations
• Good leadership and organisational skills
• IT skills in word processing, email, internet, databases and presentations
• Experience of carrying out social research and consultation
• Experience of organising and facilitating workshops, groups and events
• Excellent networking, relationship building and information management skills

Our Trustees are essential to the running of our service and we are looking for passionate individuals to join us. Ideal applicants will have specific knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Finance –support of voluntary agencies in establishing good practice in line with legislation, and of developing self-sustaining business practices.
• Strategic Planning
• IT- technical support and/or client database systems

The Board meets for around 2 hours, every 8-10 weeks. Meetings are held at our premises in Eskbank, Dalkeith, with remote access during instances when a Trustee is unable to attend in person.

The role of Development Officer works to deliver on the strategic aims of the ALLIANCE. A key responsibility of the Development Officer is to recruit, maintain and develop the ALLIANCE’s growing membership, building strong relationships with existing and new members across health and social care. The role will focus on delivering the ALLIANCE membership strategic plan prioritising:

• Diversifying membership
• Improving communications and information sharing with members
• Building strong relationships.

Kingdom Abuse Survivors Project are seeking a Befriending Co-ordinator to assist in developing and co-ordinating all elements of volunteering including : advertising, recruitment, training, development and matching and supporting of befriending volunteers within the organisation.

Applicants will have at least 2 years’ experience of providing services to vulnerable client groups and have proven experience of all aspects of managing and retaining volunteers.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a high degree of self-motivation and have the ability to motivate others. They will also have a passion for improving the lives of women and men who have experienced childhood sexual abuse.

Must be able to work as part of a team.

Post will be based in Kirkcaldy and will involve travel across all areas of Fife.
