Role

We are recruiting a Volunteer Coordinator to promote volunteering for PAPYRUS across Scotland, and to recruit, engage and manage volunteers to support the work of the charity.

What you will do:

  • Recruiting, training, supporting, engaging, and managing volunteers.
  • Developing and maintaining partnership in local communities to enable and enhance our
  • volunteer programme.
  • Meeting with volunteers regularly on a one to one and groups setting to review their roles
  • and encourage engagement.
  • Maintaining accurate records for all volunteers in compliance with GDPR and reporting to
  • the Area Manger on impact of our volunteering.
  • Completing exit interviews with volunteers and ensuring feedback is implemented back into
  • the PAPYRUS teams.
  • Working with other Volunteer Coordinators across the charity to review, develop and
  • implement best practice within our programme.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Proven experience of recruiting, supporting, engaging, and managing volunteers.
  • Previous experience working in a community setting, delivering information and training
  • sessions, leading workshops, or educational activities.
  • Ability to accurately record and manage data and report to on outcomes to deadlines.
  • Ability to travel to different locations within Scotland to attend meetings and
