St Paul’s Youth Forum (SPYF) aims to alleviate the worst effects of poverty in the Blackhill/Provanmill area of Glasgow through our programmes focusing on eating, education, exercise and empowerment.
Purpose of the role
Are you passionate about working with people to make a positive difference to their lives?
As a Youth and Community Development Worker you will work with the young people and the community of Blackhill/Provanmill to provide high quality development opportunities focusing on our themes of eating, exercise, education and empowerment. At St Paul’s Youth Forum (SPYF) we work tirelessly to combat the worst effects of poverty in our community - if you are driven, enthusiastic and thrive from helping others realise their potential then we want to hear from you!
You will have experience of planning and delivering engaging impactful youth work and/or community development programmes and activities, and will take an approach in line with SPYF’s values of inclusiveness, accessibility and support. You will have experience of working with people who have experienced barriers to participation in community life.
The Youth and Community Development Worker will work across all SPYF activities, including on our Diversionary youth work project and at the SPYF Molendinar Community Centre.
