Bipolar Scotland is at an exciting time in our story. We are part-way through our 5-year strategy “A Time to Move Forward” and are offering the opportunity for an exceptional candidate to play a key part in the expansion of the organisation.
We are seeking a driven and experienced Communications & Engagement Manager to oversee the full suite of comms, media, influence, and engagement functions of our member led charity. The successful candidate will be proactive, passionate, and influential, with the drive and initiative to raise the profile of our unique and innovative organisation and support us to engage a wide audience.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience of working as part of a successful and busy Communications team and have excellent management skills or relevant experience, preferably within the third sector. Knowledge or experience of working with people who have a mental health condition is not essential but will be helpful in appreciating the context of our work.
We offer a generous annual leave and public holiday entitlement of 37 days in total, plus up to 2 wellbeing days per year, along with flexible working arrangements. The role will be based at our new office in central Paisley, with the opportunity for hybrid working. We welcome applications from candidates who wish to work part-time.
