Role

The Finance Manager is a key post within the Pier Arts Centre and will work closely with the Director, staff and the non-executive Board to develop, review and deliver the Centre’s mission, strategy, and objectives.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for the finances of the Centre ensuring sound processes and controls are in place that provide accurate financial information and comply with charity legislation and good practice. The main duties of the post include Financial Management and Reporting, Fundraising and support with Company Administration.

The Pier Arts Centre is continually developing creative, social and economic opportunities for its community. These two roles will play a key role in advancing the Centre’s values and aims, supporting the staff team to success, and nurturing the arts across Orkney.
