Our in-school mentoring has profound impacts on young people, boosting their confidence, improving wellbeing and encouraging achievement and post-school progression. MCR Mentors make and experience a life changing difference to over 4,000 young people from across the country.
We are looking for a North Programme Manager for our programme across a group of schools based in the Highlands. The role is an interesting and varied one. As part of our Education and Schools team, you will help to lead, support and advise the regional team of school Pathways Coordinators and be supported by our Mentor Services, Marketing and Digital teams.
You’ll need to be relentlessly driven to ensure that all care-experienced young people and those experiencing disadvantage are supported to find, grow and use their individual talents and that their education, employment choices and life chances outcomes are maximised. You’ll have experience of managing a team, be highly organised and ambitious to ensure all the young people involved have the opportunity to access the Young Talent programme.
Key responsibilities - use your knowledge and understanding of the region to:
