As part of the investment in our mission we are seeking a user experience designer. This new role has been created to support our strategic objective of accelerating our progress towards becoming a digitally led organisation.
The team
An exciting opportunity to become part of Energy Saving Trust’s customer experience team. With the customer at the heart of everything we do, we are dedicated to understanding and continuously improving all things customer experience across all of Energy Saving Trust’s activities.
The role
We are looking for a user experience (UX) designer to establish and embed UX processes across the organisation, champion usability, establish measurement methods, design and conduct user research and provide UX expert advice and training to colleagues.
You will have the ability to develop strategic plans for UX and oversee and facilitate consistency in approach to UX across the business.
In this role, you should have an analytical and creative mindset with a high degree of creativity, empathy, passion and problem-solving ability. A strong portfolio of successful UX and other technical projects is essential.

This is a permanent position. Our standard weekly hours are 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday.
This will need to be a full-time role. We are open to flexible working locations (within Great Britain) and as standard we offer all contracts on blended (home and office-based) working.

The majority of our people are working from home but have access to our office locations – Edinburgh, London and Cardiff. We will we be happy to discuss this and our blended working model at the interview stage with you.
