This is an exciting opportunity to be part of Children 1st's Business Development & Trust (BD&T) team who raise income from statutory and charitable trusts and foundations to make a positive difference to the lives of thousands of children, young people and their families across Scotland.
We are a friendly, hardworking and supportive team who have secured a range of long-term partnerships with a range of statutory and grant funders including Scottish Government; Local Authorities, The National Lottery Community Fund and William Grant Foundation. We are driven by our commitment to securing funding that enables Children 1st’s front-line services to build empowering relationships with families to address the various, often complex, challenges they face.

What kind of people are we looking for?
Base
This role requires you to be based at either our Glasgow or Edinburgh base 3 days per week. We know it is helpful to work alongside our teams in community bases and you will be required to travel to our other services routinely. Once you are up and running in the role we can agree the working arrangements that best suit you and the organisation.
Salary, Conditions, Pension
We will offer you a competitive salary, generous annual leave entitlement (40 days inclusive of 9 public holidays), flexible working opportunities and a contributory pension scheme.

This is a permanent post. We have 1 full time equivalent post (35 hours a week). We would be open to hearing from candidates who wish to explore flexible working hour arrangements within Children 1st’s operational hours 8 a.m.– 6p.m.
