Role

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Administrator to join our amazing People and Business Support Team based in Edinburgh. We are looking for someone who thrives working in a fast-paced but fun environment and loves to be involved in a variety of business support tasks.

Working in collaboration with our People and Business Support Manager, (whilst providing supervision and guidance to our People and Business Support Apprentice), you’ll help create and improve the successful delivery of our administrative support services across the entire organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to progress in their administrative career by taking on additional responsibilities whilst learning and building on your existing skills and experience.

A detailed Job Description is attached, however responsibilities include the following:

People Services

  • Supporting the People and Business Support Manager with the implementation and management of Strategic Plans – including but not limited to the People and Volunteer plans.
  • Supporting the People & Business Support Manager to ensure efficient delivery of day-to-day operations.
  • Supporting the People and Business Support Manager with People and Volunteer related activities including but not limited to recruitment, reporting, minute taking, onboarding and offboarding for employees, students and volunteers.

Business Support

  • Work with the Senior Management Team and People and Business Support Manager to undertake internal projects, researching, creating & managing project plans from inception to completion and liaising with facilitating colleagues across the business to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Facilities management ensuring maintenance of equipment and raising/resolving issues relating to contractors and suppliers. Also, monitoring the quality and efficiency of their work.
  • Procurement and tendering for new facility contracts and renewals, administering cost analysis exercises in line with our procurement processes for, but not limited to IT, mobiles, sims, utilities, photocopiers, cleaners, software systems.
