Role

At the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund, their mission is to enhance the well-being and welfare of the RAF family. With a rich history dating back to 1919, they are dedicated to delivering a range of services and programmes to support serving and former RAF personnel and their loved ones. As a Community Fundraiser, you will play a key role in achieving their ambitious community fundraising targets, enabling them to continue providing essential services to the RAF community.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to proactively source, secure, and manage community fundraising partnerships in Scotland. By building and nurturing relationships with individuals, groups, and companies, you will help maximize income to support our vital programmes. You will recruit supporters for their challenge events and national programmes, identify opportunities for volunteer fundraising, and oversee fundraising activities in your assigned geographical area.

To excel in this role, it would be advantageous to have fundraising or marketing experience, with a proven track record of target delivery. Strong relationship-building skills, along with the ability to connect with a wide range of individuals within the local community, are essential. Your excellent project management skills will be crucial in effectively organizing and executing fundraising activities.
