withYOU is a large provider of social care across Edinburgh and the Lothians. Established 32 years ago as a care provider, and an independent charity since 2018, we have supported thousands of people.
Our services cover a broad range of social care areas, but have a unifying focus around ensuring those we support are able to have a safe, secure place to stay, and wherever possible are able to maintain their tenancy.
We work with people 16+ and our service models are predominantly housing support in core and cluster. We also provide outreach services and we have a number of 24/7 supported services, including homelessness hostels.

We have an annual turnover of nearly £8m and employ 250 multi-skilled staff. We are now embarking on a full scale transformation of our organisation, which is exciting and ambitious. As part of this transformation, we have a new Senior Management Team and a refreshed Board of Trustees to guide the organisation through the opportunities that lie ahead. As part of this journey, we will collaborate and co-produce with the people we support, updated organisational values and we anticipate a re-brand and a new organisation name.
About the role
As Business Development Lead, you will join our new Management Team and lead the organisation’s approach to Business Development and Income Generation. Alongside managers, you will develop our approach to Service Retention and Service Growth.
You will work collaboratively with SMT, Managers and Practice Development colleagues to design and implement a new approach to Business Development, including:
- New ways of working in bid management
- Prospecting and pipeline development
- External landscape analysis and trends identification
- External engagement
The role will require solid experience of business development, change management, and a fundamental knowledge of social care and the social care marketplace. The ideal candidate will come with solid, capable experience in Business Development, with proven examples of impact and success.
Leadership qualities and the ability to start from scratch are required for this role. You will spend time with colleagues, learning about our services, and building relationships. An entrepreneurial spirit would be ideal – someone who can spot the range of possibilities open to the organisation and who feels comfortable and confident exploring them.
You will have a development mindset and take others with you on a journey of success. You ideally feel comfortable in developing a tender response as well as networking and presenting our services to different audiences.

We’re recruiting a Senior Support Worker to lead frontline delivery of personalised, high-quality, and compassionate support to individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness. You’ll be part of a dedicated team delivering tenancy support, housing management assistance, and wellbeing services tailored to individual needs.
Eastfield is a high support needs service, supporting people with multiple and complex needs as such as substance use, mental health and physical health. This does not involve any personal care or administering any medication
Role and responsibilities
• Coordinate and deliver support plans addressing tenancy sustainment, substance use, mental health, housing needs, and personal development.
• Responsible for coordinating and maintaining staff rotas for their service.
• Work directly with individuals to help them achieve their goals, build life skills, and improve health and wellbeing.
• Act as a keyworker and oversee support delivery, ensuring accurate and professional records.
• Liaise with external partners, including housing teams, healthcare services, and advocacy groups.
• Provide leadership on shift and supervision to support workers in the absence of the Team Leader.
• Promote inclusion, empowerment, and trauma-informed practice in all areas of support.
Essential Skills and Attributes
• A recognised social care qualification at SCQF Level 6 or above.
• Experience working in adult social care, ideally in homelessness, housing support or mental health.
• Confident in report writing, support planning, and using digital systems.
• Understanding of SSSC codes of practice and Care Inspectorate standards.
• Strong values of compassion, dignity, and respect for all.
• Ability to read, speak and write in English at CEFR level B1 or higher.
• Commitment to the values and mission of Care Support Scotland, and to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion
Desired skills and attributes
• Previous social care practitioner (skilled worker) experience,
• Previous supervisory experience
• Previous specialist training experience directly related to the role.

The Presbytery of Lothian and Borders ( Presbytery of Lothian and Borders ) offers an exciting opportunity for someone who is visionary, approachable and passionate about mission and the work of, and reform in, the Church of Scotland and who is willing to help shape Presbytery to best serve God and its communities.
The Presbytery was established on 1 January 2023 when the former Presbyteries of Duns, Jedburgh, Lothian and Melrose and Peebles came together as part of the reform programme established by the General Assembly.
Currently the Presbytery consists of 86 congregations in 57 charges; however as we continue to implement our Mission Planning process this may change. We have developed a set of planning principles in order to bring one cohesive Presbytery plan into being.
The successful candidate will lead a team consisting of a part-time Administrator and a full-time Mission officer as well as working closely with the Buildings Officer appointed by both the Presbytery and the General Trustees. We are seeking an individual who will bring experience of the Church of Scotland, inspirational leadership and flexibility on working practices to respond to the changing needs of our presbytery. The Presbytery Clerk is a key support to those serving in our parishes, such as Ministers, Deacons, MDS, Readers and voluntary office bearers.
The successful candidate will be expected to live within the bounds of the new Presbytery to facilitate an understanding of the needs of the people we serve.
