Role

The Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations is the national body representing the voluntary sector. Our mission is to support, promote and develop a confident, sustainable voluntary sector in Scotland.

Our digital evolution team helps thousands of organisations large and small to grow their digital capability. A core part of our vision for the voluntary sector is to ensure that organisations are supported to use digital technology and systems securely.

As part of that work, we’re looking for a Cyber Resilience Co-ordinator to work with key voluntary sector stakeholders and the Scottish Government to co-ordinate the delivery of the actions set out in the Cyber Resilience Third Sector Action Plan.

The Cyber Resilience Co-ordinator will have experience of working in a similar role and proven knowledge of the cyber threat landscape and how organisations can develop their cyber resilience. This is not a technical role – the primary purpose is supporting effective partnerships to shape and deliver the action plan. Successful applicants should have the ability to persuade and influence and have experience of project management in a similar role.

This role can be based in one of our three offices, with hybrid/home working options available. Occasional travel to Edinburgh/Glasgow will be required.
