Role

The British Liver Trust is the leading UK charity for adults at risk of, or affected by, any type of liver disease and liver cancer. Liver disease is in crisis across the country, with late or missed diagnosis leading to avoidable deaths. There is a lack of awareness and understanding of the range and causes of liver conditions, which needs to change.

The outreach team at the British Liver Trust are at the forefront of our public-facing work. We deliver a wide portfolio of patient support, health awareness and promotion and outreach projects.

About you – you want to make a direct difference in two key ways - by supporting people with liver disease and by helping us tackle of one of the biggest health challenges in the UK.

You are highly motivated, have great time-management skills and relish the challenge of delivering a variety of different outreach projects. You communicate with empathy and understanding, have a passion for improving health outcomes, and are adept at self-directed work and playing your part collaboratively in a wider team.

You must be able to work unsociable hours (some evening and weekend work involved).
