Stirling Council Advice Services is an accredited provider of welfare benefits, money and debt advice under the Scottish National Standards for Advice and Information Providers.
The Forth Valley Macmillan Money Matters Project provides income maximisation advice and support to people with a Cancer diagnosis living in either Clackmannanshire, Falkirk or Stirling.
We are currently recruiting for a full-time Project Worker to work within the Macmillan Money Matters Project; and alongside the wider Advice Services Team.
You should ideally have experience of: completing benefits checks; supporting vulnerable people to maximise their income, through applying for benefits and charitable grants; challenging benefit decisions, including representation at appeals and tribunals; and providing budgeting advice.
This post is currently funded by Macmillan Cancer Support until 31st December 2024; and will report to the Senior Adviser.
