  • Develop communications materials on ASCERTAIN developments and outputs.
  • Attend consortium meetings as and when needed.
  • Monitor project progress/milestone and contribute to project reporting, as instructed by the European Commission and MPE Finance Manager.

  • Content identification (on developments relating to access to treatment and care) and management of the Myeloma Access Atlas, the flagship MPE access programme: atlas.mpeurope.org
  • Engage with MPE members on their work relating to access (relating to diagnosis, treatment and care) and monitor/seek insights into the challenges faced at a national level.
  • Assist our members with training on relevant topics and developing potential strategies to overcome national access challenges, in collaboration with MPE Management Team.
  • Engage with MPE industry partners on topics relating to access, as needed.

Policy, access and regulatory affairs (approximately 20% of role)

  • Proactively monitor EU policy developments impacting on patient access to treatment and care. It is anticipated this will primarily focus on the EU regulation on health technology assessment and the revision of the EU general pharmaceutical legislation.
  • Identify relevant policy opportunities and write policy positions, reports and consultation responses to relevant policy opportunities at a European level (in line with the above policy topics), as agreed with line manager.
