About the Role
SAMH provides supported accommodation services in Fife. Providing access to 24Hour support 7 days a week .The services is run across two sites in Fife (Glenrothes and Kirkcaldy), and is registered as Care at Home with Housing support. We also provide a bespoke outreach Service.
You will be required to work at both locations and provide outreach support. You should be able to provide direct support to individuals in homes and communities to improve their mental health and wellbeing. Support is focused on enabling people to build on their existing skills or develop new skills, increase their self-esteem and confidence, which in turn will encourage involvement and promote independence. This is achieved by using interpersonal and motivational skills to help an individual explore options, the possible outcomes/ consequences and make an informed choice based on this.
What we are looking for
You will be able to demonstrate good communication skills and a mature attitude together with adaptability and enthusiasm. Knowledge and experience in supporting people with mental health problems is desirable but not essential as is experience working with people who have had long term hospital admissions. This role involves shift working, including evening’s weekends and sleepovers and participating in an on Call Rota.

About Us
Braveheart is a forward-thinking health promotion charity dedicated to improving wellbeing through healthy lifestyles and physical activity. Braveheart has been providing community-based health services in Forth Valley for 30 years and is well established in the locality.
The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Co-ordinator to lead and develop our footcare initiative across the Forth Valley area. Braveheart’s Top Toes service is already operating in Falkirk District and your role will be to drive forward the growth of the social enterprise, while managing the high quality of the footcare service. Joining the Braveheart team at this exciting time in the organisation’s development offers the successful candidate the opportunity to make a tangible difference to the lives of hundreds of people in the Forth Valley communities. Key challenges of the role will include implementing a new online payment system, recruiting and developing volunteer teams and promoting the footcare service through partnership development and marketing activities.
Our footcare clinics are delivered by volunteers. The Co-ordinator role includes organising regular training including with the NHS podiatry team, mentoring and supporting volunteers, promoting good communication and holding regular volunteer team meetings.
The post is initially funded by Clackmannanshire and Stirling Health and Social Care Partnership for up to 2 years, however, the aim of the socially enterprising project is that it will become self-sustaining through the income raised by the service.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about health promotion and community engagement with strong organisational and interpersonal skills. Prison Fellowship Scotland is a Christian charity working with the men and women in Scotland's prisons. Through our partnership with the Scottish Prison Service, we support chaplains by running programmes that allow people in prison to explore and respond to the Christian faith and to take responsibility for the harm they have caused. We also support the families of those in prison.
Purpose of the role
To lead the delivery and development of the Sycamore Tree Programme across Scotland and contribute to the growth of restorative justice practice within the criminal justice system, working in partnership with prisons, volunteers, and external organisations. Additionally, role will also promote the work of Prison Fellowship Scotland within churches and contribute to wider awareness and understanding of justice issues. Beyond this part of the role will be to work well as part of the wider PFS team as we actively look at new ways of growing the work of the organisation.

We have a mission to bring together the queer community in Edinburgh and beyond; celebrate LGBTQ+ authors and their works; and collect and preserve LGBTQ+ books (focusing on those published between 1970 and 2000). We work to create and maintain a free and welcoming community archive space for reading, research, and socialising. The archive is open to visitors and hosts a variety of author events, workshops, community groups and book clubs. We also have a digital catalogue of our collection.
To support the next stage of our growth, we are seeking aResearch Coordinatortolead the development and delivery of community-led research into Scotland’s LGBTQ+ heritage, with responsibility for the Connecting Heritage strand of the project. The post holder will take forward a variety of work including research design, outputs and partnerships, supporting a team of volunteer researchers and producing accessible public facing outputs. To support the next stage of our growth, we are seeking a General Manager to build the sustainability of the Archive and ensure effective delivery of our programmes. Working closely with the Board, this exciting new role will lead organisational development, fundraising, financial administration, governance, and long-term planning, while managing and leading the work of a high performing staff team. Specifically, the postholder will provide high-level oversight of collections policy, ethics, and risk, ensuring the archive remains accessible, cared for, and responsive to community needs; whilst also leading the team to effectively deliver our new project “Unlocking Scotland’s LGBTQ+ Heritage”, which is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
